visit the HP website> Support area and drivers, download the latest driver version available for your Wi-Fi adapter and put it in a folder. Disconnect from the internet, go to Device Manager and note the version of the driver currently in use adapter. Then uninstall the driver along with the driver software (do not reboot).
Step 1. Check Wi-Fi signal strength. If the signal is weak, move the computer closer to your router if possible. Step2. Navigate to Device Manager in Control Panel >> Locate the wireless adapter in the list.>>Highlight the device in the listing >> Right-click and Select Properties >> Power Management >>Uncheck Allow computer to turn off this device..>> Click OK to close the window >> Reboot

It was 2 x 2 so even though Windows reported the protocol as 802.11N when I went to check link speed it was connecting at 867 MHz which was 802.11ac. You check in Network and Sharing Center>Connections (Top right)>Speed.

Step 2: I restarted my server and waited for it to boot. Step 3: I enabled the WiFi service by the PowerShell CMD: net start WlanSvc.
